Valentine’s Day Dinner Ballot (the “Ballot”)

Thank you for your interest in the Valentine’s Day Dinner at the Studio Tour taking place on 11/02/2017 and 12/02/2017 at 19:00 GMT (the “Event”).

The Event is ticketed and tickets cost four hundred and ninety five Pounds Sterling (£495) for two (2) people to attend (a “Ticket”). Each Ticket includes:

  • out of hours access to the Studio Tour from 19:00 GMT to 23:59 GMT on the Ticketed date;
  • a choice of either: one (1) ‘Love Potion’ cocktail, one (1) glass of pink prosecco or a selection of soft drinks on arrival for each person;
  • pre-dinner canapés to share amongst each couple;
  • a three (3) course menu dinner for each person at a romantically dressed table for two (2) in the Great Hall;
  • half a bottle of wine or three (3) bottle of beers per person;
  • unlimited mineral water;
  • an assiette of desserts to share amongst each couple;
  • one (1) couple photograph taken at the couple’s table in the Great Hall;
  • a further drink of wine, beer or soft drink on Platform 9 ¾ for each guest;
  • Butterbeer served in souvenir tankards for each person;
  • tea or coffee served with petit fours overlooking the Hogwarts Castle model;
  • one (1) souvenir guidebook for each person;
  • one (1) wand for each person; and
  • one (1) confectionery item for each couple.

Availability is limited to fifty four (54) Tickets for each night. As demand is high for our events, we will use a ballot system to allocate tickets for the Event (the “Ballot”).

The following terms and conditions will apply for the Ballot (the “Terms and Conditions”).

1.         Eligibility Requirements

The Ballot is open to individuals who are aged eighteen (18) years old and above (the “Entrants”).

The Ballot begins on 08/12/2016 and ends at 23:59 GMT on 12/12/2016 (the “Ballot Period”).

Only one Entry per person.

2.         How to Enter

            No purchase is necessary to take part in the Ballot.

Entrants may participate in the Ballot by:

  • Visiting (the “Website”); and
  • Completing the sign-up form including details on which date they would like to attend. Entrants will be required to provide basic contact details such as his/her full name, date of birth and phone number and the date they wish to attend,

            (an “Entry”).

            No other forms of entry will be accepted.

3.         Notifying Ballot Winners

After the conclusion of the Ballot Period, one hundred and eight (108) Entrants will be selected at random and invited to buy Tickets to the Event (the “Ballot Winners”).

Ballot Winners will be contacted by Warner Bros. between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 GMT on the 13/12/16 by telephone. If a Ballot Winner does not answer the call, Warner Bros. will attempt to contact the Ballot Winner three (3) additional times during the course of the day (during the hours previously stated). If the Ballot Winner does not answer Warner Bros.’ calls during the course of the day, an alternative Ballot Winner will be randomly selected and contacted on the next working day in the manner set out above. This cycle will repeat until all the Tickets to the Event have been allocated. Entrants will only be allowed to purchase a Ticket following a telephone call from Warner Bros..

Once contacted, Ballot Winners will be offered one (1) Ticket to the Event. At this time, the Ballot Winner must confirm his/her personal details (including, but not limited to, full name and address) and provide Warner Bros. with his/her credit/debit card information in order to complete the payment.

4.         Event Terms

4.1       Tickets to the Event are personal, non-refundable and non-transferable.

4.2       No one will be admitted to the Event without a valid Ticket.

4.3       The “Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter” standard terms and conditions (available at apply during the Event. Warner Bros. reserves the right to refuse entry or eject any Event attendee if he/she engages in unacceptable behaviour (as determined by Warner Bros. in its sole discretion).

4.4       The Event may be rescheduled and/or cancelled for unforeseen circumstances, or for reasons beyond the control of Warner Bros.. In such an event, Warner Bros. shall either offer the Ballot Winner an alternative date or offer a refund.

4.5       To the extent permitted by law, Warner Bros. shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by the Ballot Winner and/or his/her guest in connection with their attendance at the Event.

4.6       If necessary, and subject to Ballot Winner providing Warner Bros. with prior notice, one (1) carer will also be able to attend the Event to assist the Ballot Winner or his/her guest at an additional cost of one hundred and twenty five Pound Sterling (£125). The carer will receive the same benefits as the Ballot Winner and his/her guest.

4.7       If Ballot Winner and or his/her guest arrive at the Event late. Ballot Winner and/or guest are requested to contact a member of the Studio Tour staff who will guide Ballot Winner and/or Guest to the appropriate place at the Event.

4.8       If you have any dietary requirements please state this at the time of booking when contacted by Warner Bros..

5.         Changes to Terms and Conditions

Subject to applicable law, Warner Bros. reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to Entrants.  In such circumstances, updated Terms and Conditions will be uploaded to and published on the Website.

For all that relates to the use of the Website, it is reminded that the Warner Bros. Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use accessible on or via the Website are applicable.  These Terms and Conditions shall prevail over any inconsistent provision contained in the Terms and Conditions of Use or the Privacy Policy posted on or via the Website.

6.         Eligibility of Entries

6.1       Ineligible or fraudulent Entries are void.  All Entrants will be deemed to have authorised Warner Bros. to check the completeness and accuracy of the information they supply for purposes of participation.  An Entrant who has supplied incomplete, inaccurate or fraudulent information will be automatically disqualified.  

6.2       Warner Bros. is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected Entries, for technical, hardware or software failures of any kind, for lost or unavailable network connections, or for failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions or any human error which may occur in the receipt or processing of the Entries.

6.3       Proof of entering information on the Website does not constitute proof of delivery or receipt of such information.  Warner Bros. is not responsible for the failure of any Entry to be received by it on account of technical problems or congestion on the internet or at any website.

6.4       Use of computer programs and other automatic means to enter the Ballot is prohibited and may result in the disqualification of the Entrant.

6.5       In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered on the date the Entry is submitted.

7.         Use of Personal Information

7.1       In order to participate in the Ballot and attend the Event, Entrants will be required to supply certain information about themselves on the Website.  Warner Bros. has specified which information is mandatory in order to participate in the Ballot and attend the Event.  This information will be used by Warner Bros. for the purposes of administering the Ballot and the Event.

7.2       In addition, the Warner Bros. Privacy Policy shall apply to all personal information provided by an Entrant.  The Warner Bros. Privacy Policy can be found at

8.         Limitation of Liability

8.1       Warner Bros. does not accept any responsibility for any occurrences resulting from the Entrants’ connection to the internet via the Website and/or resulting from participation in the Ballot.  In particular, Warner Bros. does not accept responsibility for any damage or loss caused in any way to an Entrant, his/her computer equipment and/or to data which is stored on any such equipment, or to his/her personal, professional or commercial activities.

8.2       If, for any reason, the Ballot is not capable of running as planned, including infection due to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure, human error or any other causes beyond the control of Warner Bros. that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Ballot, Warner Bros. reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Ballot and let Warner Bros. select the Ballot Winners from all eligible Entries received prior to the cancellation or termination of the Ballot.

8.3       In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Warner Bros. reserves the right to substitute any or all parts of the Ballot.  In this event, such a change will be publicised on the Website and any necessary amendments to these conditions will be made.

8.4       Entrants agree to the fullest extent allowed by applicable law to release and forever discharge Warner Bros., and its parent corporations, subsidiaries, assigns and employees, and any entity or person connected with the Ballot from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever which may now or hereafter arise, including but not limited to any loss of enjoyment, costs, delays or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused by, contributed to, or arising out of or in connection with the Ballot.

8.5       If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the provision will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining Terms and Conditions, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8.6       Warner Bros. reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the Ballot without specifying the reasons for its decision and without incurring liability as a result.  

8.7       If applicable law does not allow all or any part of the above limitation of liability to apply, the limitations will apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8.8       The Ballot is governed by the laws of England.  You hereby consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English for any action however so arising out of these Terms and Conditions.
