Treat the family to a day of filmmaking magic
Discover behind-the-scenes secrets at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. Explore the sets, props and costumes, and learn how special and visual effects brought iconic scenes and mystical creatures to life on-screen.
Have you ever wanted to fly a broomstick, pull up a Mandrake in Professor Sprout’s greenhouse or board the Hogwarts Express, just like the cast did? Experience the magic first-hand with interactive activities and displays the whole family can take part in.
There’s no need for a Pensieve when you can take everlasting family memories home with you – the Studio Tour hosts a range of free photo opportunities, including the trolley through the wall at Platform 9 ¾ and Mandrake potting in Professor Sprout’s greenhouse. Souvenir photos and videos can also be purchased from each of our green screen experiences. Ride a broomstick just like the cast did during filming or, if you refer to travel by train, experience how scenes inside the Hogwarts Express were filmed by boarding one of the carriages with your family and reliving the journey to Hogwarts.

Enhance the magic for young witches and wizards with a complimentary Activity Passport. Take part in the Golden Snitch hunt, solve puzzles, learn trivia and collect souvenir stamps at key points throughout the Studio Tour.
There’s always something new and exciting to see, with different features during the school holidays. Delve into the darkness of the wizarding world during Dark Arts or celebrate the festive season with Hogwarts in the Snow. Our summer feature also offers new surprises each year. In 2026, we’ll be celebrating 25 years of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with our First Year at Hogwarts feature, taking you back to where the filmmaking magic began.
Remember to also keep an eye out for upcoming events, such as our Family Dinner in the Great Hall event, where you can “let the feast begin” before exploring the Studio Tour!

Looking to plan your visit? If you’re travelling by road, parking is provided free of charge outside the Studio Tour. If you’re travelling by train, regular complimentary shuttle busses operate from Watford Junction train station with a journey time of around 15 minutes.
Book your tickets in advance for a magical day out. Tickets for children aged four and under are free!
