With 2026 being the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, what better timing to tap into the nostalgia that visitors experience every day in a brand-new advert?

Go behind-the-scenes to uncover how we created our new brand ad. Shot over two nights, a crew of over 100 people worked to bring the experience of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London into focus, celebrating the unrivalled feelings only experienced at the Studio Tour.

From creating goosebumps using a balloon to building a cosy living room set on Platform 9 ¾, uncover how the Studio Tour brought the magic to life. Early in the creative process, we learned from our visitors where nostalgia emerges and how it physically manifests at the Studio Tour. What quickly became clear was the richness of sensory moments throughout the experience: the chill of the Forbidden Forest, the hiss of the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9 ¾, and the breathtaking reveal of the Hogwarts castle model.

At the heart of the Studio Tour is the celebration of the incredible craftsmanship behind filmmaking, so capturing as much as possible in-camera was essential. The crew took this on wholeheartedly and introduced a variety of cameras and lenses. Plus, a whole living room set was built on Platform 9 ¾ to help achieve a seamless in-camera transition.

The visuals have been paired with an audio track that is an emotional trigger for any Harry Potter fan – Hedwig’s Theme, composed by John Williams. Instantly recognisable, any fan cannot help but feel transported into the enchanted wizarding world.
