Our knowledgeable Interactors will Revelio filmmaking secrets during your Studio Tour visit. Discover how magical creatures like the Mandrakes and Dobby were brought to life, experience how special and visual effects were used for fan-favourite scenes and learn how technical drawings and scale models were used to create your favourite sets. Handheld Digital Guides are also available to hire, revealing fascinating facts about the sets, props and costumes whilst featuring exclusive filmmaker interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
Put yourself at the heart of the magic and board the Hogwarts Express, practise your best trolley through the wall jump at Platform 9 ¾, pull up a Mandrake in Professor Sprout’s greenhouse and learn how the cast filmed broomstick flight scenes. Souvenir photos and videos can be purchased from our green screen photo experiences so you can take some of the magic home with you!
The Studio Tour hosts a range of exciting limited-time special features throughout the year. Explore the dark side of the wizarding world during Dark Arts or experience Christmas at the Studio Tour with Hogwarts in the Snow. Our summer feature also offers new surprises each year. In 2026, we’ll be celebrating 25 years of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with our First Year at Hogwarts feature, taking you back to where the filmmaking magic began.
A range of feature-themed food and drink options will also be available thoughout the year, so remember to stop by our restaurants and cafés for refreshments. Before or after your tour, explore savoury Food Hall options, sweet Frog Café treats and check out the Dragon Roasted Café for Harry Potter-inspired drinks. Or, if you’re feeling peckish during your tour, the Backlot Café and Butterbeer Bar are located midway through the Studio Tour. Round of Butterbeer anyone?
