Go behind-the-scenes at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and discover how iconic film moments were brought to life using special and visual effects, sets, props and costumes.

Enter the iconic Great Hall, wander down Diagon Alley and marvel at the decadence of Gringotts Wizarding Bank. The Studio Tour sets make the perfect backdrop for photos – remember to snap yours whilst pulling up the Mandrakes in Professor Sprout’s greenhouse, posing with the trolley through the wall at Platform 9 ¾, wielding the Sword of Gryffindor in the Lestrange vault and bowing to Buckbeak in the Forbidden Forest (beware of the spiders)!
In addition to lots of exciting free photo opportunities, you’ll also have the chance to purchase souvenir photos or videos from our green screen photo experiences. Ride a broomstick just like the cast did during filming or, if you prefer to travel by train, experience how scenes inside the Hogwarts Express were filmed by boarding one of the carriages with your friends and reliving the journey to Hogwarts.
The Studio Tour also hosts a range of limited-time special features. Explore the dark side of the wizarding world during Dark Arts or experience Christmas at the Studio Tour with Hogwarts in the Snow. Our summer feature also offers new surprises each year. In 2026, we’ll be celebrating 25 years of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone with our First Year at Hogwarts feature, taking you back to where the filmmaking magic began.
Remember to also keep an eye out for upcoming events, such as our Hallowe’en event, Nox, and Christmas event, Dinner in the Great Hall.
Stop by our restaurants and cafés for feature-themed food and drink throughout the year. Before or after your tour, explore savoury Food Hall options, sweet Frog Café treats and check out the Dragon Roasted Café for Harry Potter-inspired drinks. If you’re feeling peckish during your tour, the Backlot Café and Butterbeer Bar are located midway through the Studio Tour. Round of Butterbeer anyone?
Looking to plan your visit? If you’re travelling by road, parking is provided free of charge outside the Studio Tour. If you’re travelling by train, regular complimentary shuttle busses operate from Watford Junction train station with a journey time of around 15 minutes.
