Our location

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is located 20 miles North-West of London and less than 3 miles from the M1 and M25 motorways. Regular public transport links serve the attraction and a shuttle bus service from Watford Junction train station is available.

Plan to arrive at the Studio Tour 20 minutes before your tour time. If you have an email booking confirmation you will need to pick up your tickets from the kiosks outside of the attraction. If you chose to have your tickets posted, go straight into the Studio Tour.

Remember you cannot buy tickets at the attraction. All tickets must be bought in advance. Please ensure you book your time and date prior to making any hotel or travel arrangements.

Coming from:

By Rail

The nearest railway station is Watford Junction; there are direct, fast train services from both London Euston (20 minute journey) and Birmingham New Street (1 hour journey). Other non-direct train services operate from London Euston however these may take longer to arrive at Watford Junction.

A shuttle bus, operated by Mullany's Coaches, will run every 30 minutes from Watford Junction to the Studio Tour, with a journey time of around 15 minutes. Plan to arrive at Watford Junction 45 minutes before the time stated on your ticket, and have your ticket or booking confirmation ready when boarding the shuttle bus.

From Watford Junction to the Studio Tour

20 and 50 minutes past the hour. From 9.20am until 5.20pm

From the Studio Tour to Watford Junction

25 and 55 minutes past the hour. From 11.55am until 9.35pm

By Road

From the North

Exit the M1 at Junction 6a and merge onto the M25 (Heathrow). Exit the M25 at Junction 20 and head south east on the A41 towards London (NW & C). Keep in the left hand lane at the Hunton Bridge roundabout. Move into the left hand lane for the A405 (St Albans). Take the left hand fork ahead and then take the first exit at the roundabout into the Studio Tour. Brown traffic signs labelled “Warner Bros. Studio Tour” will direct you once you have left M25.

From the M25

From the East

Exit the M25 at Junction 20 and head south east on the A41 towards London (NW & C). Keep in the left hand lane at the Hunton Bridge roundabout. Move into the left hand lane for the A405 (St Albans). Take the left hand fork ahead and then take the first exit at the roundabout into the Studio Tour. Brown traffic signs labelled “Warner Bros. Studio Tour” will direct you once you have left M25.

From the West

Exit the M25 at Junction 19. At the Hunton Bridge roundabout take the second exit onto the A41 (Central London) and move into the left hand lane for the A405 (St Albans). Take the left hand fork ahead and then take the first exit at the roundabout into the Studio Tour. Brown traffic signs labelled “Warner Bros. Studio Tour” will direct you once you have left M25.

From London

Exit the M1 at Junction 5 and take the A41 (North Watford) for approximately 3 miles. At the Hunton Bridge Roundabout, take the 4th exit, back on to the A41. Keep in the left lane and take the first exit. Keep left at the Y junction and then take the first exit at the roundabout into the Studio Tour. Brown traffic signs labelled “Warner Bros. Studio Tour” will help direct you as you approach the Studio Tour.

Transfers from London

For quick and easy access to the Studio Tour from Central London, why not travel by coach? There are three daily departures from the Golden Tours office in Victoria, Central London, leaving at 8am, 11am and 2pm.
