Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson joined filmmaker Chris Columbus and other esteemed cast members across all eight Harry Potter films as they travelled back to Hogwarts for the first time to celebrate the anniversary of the franchise’s first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which premiered 20 years ago.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts was filmed at Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter and honours the magic behind the making of the films and the beautiful family created at Warner Bros. Studios London two decades ago. It celebrates the unparalleled legacy of the Harry Potter film franchise and its indelible impact on the hearts, minds, and imaginations of families and fans around the world.
Alumni of the film franchise join the memorable tribute, including Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman, Imelda Staunton, Tom Felton, James Phelps, Oliver Phelps, Mark Williams, Bonnie Wright, Alfred Enoch, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, and Ian Hart, among others.
“There’s magic in the air here with this incredible cast, as they all return home to the original sets of Hogwarts, where they began 20 years ago. The excitement is palpable as they prepare to take their fans on a very special and personal journey, through the making of these incredible films,” said executive producer Casey Patterson.

About The Studio Tour

The Studio Tour offers visitors the chance to explore two soundstages and a backlot filled with original sets, animatronic creatures and breathtaking special effects. Step into the original Great Hall, first built for Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, experience green screen technology and marvel at the breath taking miniature scale model of Hogwarts castle.
See first hand the sheer scale and detail of the actual sets, costumes, animatronics, special effects and props that have been used in all eight of the Harry Potter films. Some of the most iconic sets featured in the attraction include Dumbledore’s office, Diagon Alley, Platform 9 ¾, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, Gryffindor common room and the Forbidden Forest.
Tickets must be booked in advance and are now available until 31st December 2023.
